First Baptist Church Gulfport has a variety of ongoing community service ministries and ways you can Amplify Hope Across the Coast.
- FBCG provides financial support and volunteers to Gulf Coast Community Ministries, helping those who are facing difficult life circumstances with food, medical care, spiritual counseling, and clothing.
- Camping for Hope finds our members demonstrating God’s love through a commitment of time and prayer with local homeless, meeting material and spiritual needs.
- Starting this Fall, we aim to provide regular Hope Packs to a population of local children in need of basic food assistance from a local elementary school, River Oaks Elementary.
- Angel Tree ministries is a church-wide celebration as Christmas gifts, large and small, as well as clothing are provided for children of local incarcerated parents.

Prison Fellowship seeks to restore those affected by crime and incarceration by introducing prisoners, victims, and their families to a new hope available through Jesus Christ. We accomplish this by training and inspiring churches and communities—inside and outside of prison —to support the restoration of those affected by incarceration. We equip wardens, prison staff, and volunteers, including men and women serving time, to create safer, more rehabilitative prisons that prepare prisoners to return to their communities as good neighbors.
