We have been created to live in community and not in isolation. Physically, we do live in a community, but spiritually, socially, and relationally we often live our lives in isolation. We find ourselves with no one to turn to when we have a major issue that surfaces in our life. Living in community affords us the opportunity to more wholly experience God through close relationships as we fellowship and pray together, as we encourage and help one another, and as we study and live out God’s word together.

At First Baptist Gulfport, we're committed to cultivating spiritual growth in groups, and the foundation of our adult ministries is the Life Group. Most of our Life Groups are Campus Life Groups, and they gather each week on Sunday mornings and evenings on the church campus. We also have a growing number of Community Life Groups meeting throughout the week at various times and locations. No matter where you are in life, there's a group for you! Visit our Facebook page to see more in-depth information about Life Groups at FBC Gulfport. Find a group that fits your age and stage of life and get connected!
Women are encouraged to get connected with other women either through life groups, women’s classes, or larger women’s events. It is our desire to see women growing spiritually and developing their gifts to serve the church family, as well as serve the community outside the church, praying for each other and building each other up.
Visit our Facebook Page to learn more about the Women of FBC Gulfport, how we are impacting the community and how you can get involved.
Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, a working mom, a mom to one or a mom to six, MSA is a great opportunity to connect to other Christian mothers and learn more about parenting God’s way.
We focus on real issues we face as a mom and wife. Using Scripture as our guideline, we discuss topics and challenges that confront us as we try to be intentional in our parenting.
MSA meets on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6PM. Childcare is provided.
The purpose of First Baptist Church Gulfport's Men’s Ministry is to define authentic manhood. In our society, being a man is confusing. We will look at the Biblical call to be a real man as one who rejects passivity, accepts responsibility, leads courageously, and invests in eternity. In Proverbs 27:17 we are told, “As Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Strong men help build up other strong men.
The Senior Adult ministry at First Baptist Church Gulfport is alive and active. You can find multiple avenues to be involved. These involve worship, weekly Bible study, monthly fellowship meetings, and ongoing ministry opportunities. We have a place for you!
