We are committed to teaching children the Word of God. Our goal is to help you build a Christ-supported foundation for your children by teaching them to be Biblically literate and to hold a Christian worldview. We begin in the early years by providing a safe and loving environment they will want to explore through play and activities. As they grow, we prepare them to receive a weekly Bible lesson through practical application and games.

All of our First Baptist Gulfport Children's Ministry staff & volunteers have been subject to a background check prior to serving, and all children will be checked in and out with our identification system to ensure safety.

Infants - Kindergarten
Our infants, toddlers, preschool, & kindergarten classes are located downstairs in The Garden. First-time visitors check-in  at the counter, and our staff will direct you to the right classroom for your little one.

First - Fourth Grade
Children from 1st-4th Grade are welcomed upstairs above The Garden by our leaders and participate in a large group environment with praise and worship and present the Bible lesson for the week. Kids finish in age-graded small groups.

Fifth - Sixth Grade
Our Fifth and Sixth Graders have a unique Life Group experience just for them upstairs in The Loft, located above the South Entrance. First-time visitors check-in  at The Garden desk, and our staff will direct you to The Loft ministry area.
